We are seeking a talented and experienced Manager, Communications, to join our team. This role reports to the Director of Corporate Communications and is based in San Jose, California.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation and Storytelling: raise brand awareness for Bloom through proactive storytelling and communications initiatives across multiple channels
- Develop communication materials (blog posts, press releases, and stories that position Bloom Energy as a leader in onsite power solutions with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Internal Communications: lead internal communications and employee events to position Bloom with employees and future talent
- Social media: lead social media content, engagement, and measurement of Bloom’s social media channels
- Awards Program: lead research and submissions for industry awards to continuously position Bloom Energy as an industry leader and a top place to work to attract talent
- External Communications: support expansion of relationships with journalists and industry influencers. Proactively identify opportunities for coverage.
- Reporting and Analysis: track and analyze media coverage, sentiment and PR impact, providing regular reports.
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in marketing communications, including internal communications, public relations, and content development
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong project management abilities and experience coordinating multiple deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Proven success working with technology, business, and media, ideally in the energy sector
- Strategic thinking balanced with detail-oriented execution capabilities. You will collaborate cross-functionally to elevate Bloom’s thought leadership with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives
- Proficiency with communications and marketing platforms and project management tools.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms and best practices

Salary Ranges:
$139,400.00 - $200,600.00
