We are looking for a talented individual…

To join CLEAResult as a Program Manager for Newfoundland & Labrador’s Isolated Communities Energy Efficiency Program. The objective of this program is to provide outreach, education and energy efficient products, along with energy efficiency and demand management opportunities to homes and businesses in the 41 remote diesel-system communities across Newfoundland and Labrador.

As the Program Manager, you will work closely with our utility clients, partners, and community leaders to ensure successful program execution.

You will be responsible for managing the client relationship, leading a team of program analysts and community coordinators, setting & tracking the strategies to achieve program objectives and savings targets, and championing the design and rollout of new program features and enhancements to better support the participating communities.

Our ideal candidate would be based in Atlantic Canada; must have the ability to attend in-person meetings once per quarter in St. John’s and/or Toronto.

  • Are meticulous in your approach to work, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and thoroughness in all tasks, with a keen ability to identify errors and maintain high standards.

  • Have a good understanding of issues, challenges and opportunities associated with remote communities and Indigenous groups.

  • Have the technical know-how to understand unfamiliar or emerging technologies applicable to residential, commercial, and industrial buildings in remote and Indigenous communities.

  • Are able to provide strong leadership and direction to a small team program analysts and field technicians.

  • Able to effectively direct and coordinate cross functional teams (including Engineering, IT, Operations, and Marketing) consisting of 5-10 people.

  • Can lead initiatives such as webinars, print materials, and industry event participation.

  • Enjoy some modest travel to participate in community visits and meet with industry partners.

Exciting candidates will have…

  • 5-8 years of program management and/or delivery experience.

  • 2-5 years of Demand Side Management (DSM) experience.

  • 2+ years people management.

  • A Bachelor’s degree or comparable education & experience in a related field such as Engineering, Building Science, or Business Administration.

  • Experience working with North American utilities or the energy efficiency industry is an asset, especially experience in program design, program delivery, cost effectiveness testing, or energy management.

  • Advanced understanding of Indigenous rights and commitment to incorporating Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action into practices.

  • Logistics experience is an asset.

Targeted Salary:

$95,000-$115,000
