Last Energy is seeking a reliable and hardworking Operations Technician to support our operations team in Austin. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to the success of our groundbreaking projects. The Operations Technician will assist with a variety of tasks, including site preparation, equipment handling, and general operational support, ensuring smooth day-to-day activities.

Key Duties & Responsibilities- Assist with the setup, maintenance, and breakdown of work sites and equipment
- Perform manual labor tasks such as loading, unloading, and transporting materials
- Support the operations team in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Operate basic tools and machinery under supervision, following safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule
- Adapt to evolving project needs and assist with additional duties as assigned
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, or general labor is a plus but not required
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices; training will be provided as needed
- CDL is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with CAD software is a plus but not required
- Shop floor interface experience is a plus
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
