We are looking for a Modeling Mechanical Engineer (CFD /Thermal) Intern to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Director of Development Engineering and based in San Jose, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in design/development of our product
  • Perform CFD analysis of components/systems of our product to evaluate design options
  • Analyze data from tests for model validation
  • Create detailed reports to present modeling results


Skills and Experience:

  • Enrolled in a graduate program (MS or PhD) in mechanical or aerospace engineering with a focus on fluid and thermal sciences graduating by Summer 2026
  • This internship program is from June to August 2025
  • Above average GPA (3.2 or higher) in their graduate program
  • Strong fundamentals in heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics
  • Exposure to at least one commercial Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tool like Fluent, Icepak or Star-CCM
  • Experience with at least one project involving CFD is desired
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools like JMP, or excel VBA is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated and a self-starter
