Knowledge Manager (Technical Sales)

Fujitsu is actively seeking a skilled Technical Knowledge Manager to join our dynamic team. This role requires a solid technical foundation and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling bid content. As a pivotal member of our Pursuit Centre, you will be responsible for crafting impactful proposal content and enhancing knowledge management across the bid team and our collaborators.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Development: Develop engaging technical content tailored to diverse customer requirements, including proposals, case studies, and references.
  2. Technical Translation: Transform intricate technical material into accessible language for bid proposals, ensuring clarity and persuasiveness.
  3. Knowledge Capture: Gather, organize, and archive valuable insights and expertise from various sources within the organization.
  4. Knowledge Sharing: Foster a culture of knowledge dissemination, facilitating effective sharing across departments and teams.
  5. Content Management: Oversee the creation, maintenance, and updating of knowledge repositories and databases.
  6. Knowledge Mapping: Identify key areas of expertise and opportunities for collaboration, mapping out the organizational knowledge landscape.
  7. Technology Integration: Leverage innovative technology solutions to streamline knowledge sharing processes.
  8. Performance Evaluation: Establish metrics to assess the impact of knowledge management initiatives on organizational performance.
  9. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to understand knowledge needs and align initiatives with organizational goals.
  10. Ad-Hoc Support: Address ad-hoc requests from the bid team, providing timely assistance and expertise as required.
  11. Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and refine knowledge management strategies to adapt to evolving business needs.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Background: Understanding of Fujitsu products and services, ERP systems (ServiceNow, SAP, Microsoft, Oracle).
  • Effective Communication: Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Analytical Acumen: Proficiency in analyzing data and deriving actionable insights.
  • Collaborative Approach: Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work across diverse teams.
  • Strategic Alignment: Ability to align initiatives with organizational objectives.
  • Relevant Experience: 8-10 years of experience in technical sales, content development, or related fields.
  • IT Services Expertise: Strong understanding of IT services and solutions.
  • Exceptional Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Autonomy and Multitasking: Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Bilingualism: Proficiency in English and French is preferred but not critical.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with content management systems, analytics tools, and CRM software will be considered an asset.

The pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: specific skills, qualifications, experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. The pay range for this position is estimated at $102,690.00 to $147,873.60 USD. Additionally, this role may be eligible for a short-term incentive based on company results and individual performance.​
