Job Title: Supervisor - Dispatch & ECC
LOCATION: Vestal, NY
Salary Range: $114,300 - $142,900
Work Type: On Site - Office
JOB SUMMARY:
Directs and supervises employees responsible for training of Transmission and Distribution Operators of the Company's Electric Control Center and Gas Emergency Control Center, which may include the dispatch of field operations crews in response to customer trouble and emergency calls.
MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelorโs Degree with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience preferred; OR
Associateโs Degree with a minimum of 7 years relevant experience required.
Knowledge of the characteristics and operation of both gas and electric systems.
Knowledge of customer service procedures is desirable.
Certifications:
NERC Certification as appropriate.
Skills/Abilities:
Results oriented and proactive.
Strong analytical, leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to make operational decisions under pressure.
Able to take on special projects.
Demonstrated administrative and decision-making abilities.
