ABOUT THIS POSITION


Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in office) in Arlington, VA OR Houston, TX


Can you build compelling content that generates excitement and demand with target audiences? Are you able to distill complex topics and technical details into highly creative marketing copy, presentations, videos, and collateral? Want to play a critical role in the leading battery energy storage company in the world? Fluence is seeking a Sr. Product Marketing Specialist who will be responsible for developing a marketing content strategy and the creation of regional marketing collateral. 

 

This position is highly cross-functional. You will work with sales, marketing, communications, product, growth and external contractors to prioritize and develop content that supports regional campaigns, events, sales, and brand building efforts. You will need to understand our industry, our product and service solutions, and create material that tells a great story. 


Responsibilities: 

•Author in-depth content such as spec sheets, sales collateral (brochure, PowerPoint, etc.), blog posts, case studies, storyboards for videos, and other material needed to explain complex industry and product concepts. Work closely with and provide creative direction to graphic designers and other design professionals.

•Prioritize and support the content needs for an array of regional marketing campaigns and customer experience initiatives.

•Manage content repositories and make it simple for customer-facing teams to access what they need, when they need it. Keep key materials updated with the latest Fluence messaging and stats. 

•Create and maintain product positioning, messaging, and value propositions by understanding customer needs through customer journey mapping and persona development.

•Act as a brand guardian – ensuring all materials shared across the Americas region comply with the brand guidelines. 

•Spearhead efforts to incorporate AI and LLM tools into the content development efforts to increase productivity.  

•Collaborate with graphic designers and manage ad-hoc presentation and design requests.

What does the ideal candidate bring to Fluence?
  • Bachelor’s in marketing or related discipline
  • 3-5 years of related marketing experience in the energy or renewables industry, ideally in technical marketing, product marketing, or similar field
  • Strong written and presentation skills with an ability to distill complex technical topics and information into clear, persuasive messaging
  • Proven ability to craft compelling stories and create interesting graphics across different channels and mediums. You can develop and execute an effective content strategy – both the strategy and the creative development
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint with experience creating concise and polished externally facing presentations
  • Great attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of digital literacy across software platforms and the ability to learn new digital tools. Proficient in MS Office Suite, and familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud or similar.
