Sr Graphic Designer

The Role

You will join our in-house creative marketing team and lead our visual brand elements and objectives including presentations, advertisements, proposals, exhibits, online presence, and more. This is a great role for someone with a solid understanding of design fundamentals looking to play a key role in a fast-growing PE-backed business.  You will report to our Director, of Marketing and be based either in New York City, Ridgewood, NJ, or Los Angeles, CA. Key responsibilities include:

• Ensure all design materials adhere to Scale’s brand guidelines and maintain a high level of quality and creativity
• Create unique and visually appealing graphics for digital and print media
• Collaborate with various internal teams to develop creative concepts and design solutions that align with our brand identity and goals
• Create branded templates for various departments, including PowerPoint presentations, report templates and whitepaper templates
• Assist with developing, shooting and editing both photo and video content
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional results

• 5+ years of experience as a graphic designer preferably in renewable energy or related industry
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design styles and projects
• Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiarity with motion graphics 3D and video editing software is a plus
• Knowledge of HTML / CSS and web design principles is a plus
• Excellent communication organization and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Attention to detail and a passion for creativity
• Bachelor’s degree in a design or related field (e.g., graphic design, visual communications, marketing, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
