Position Title: Senior Manager, Supply Chain

Position Summary:

As a Senior Manager of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our supply chain operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products. You will lead a team of supply chain professionals, develop strategies, and implement processes to enhance our supply chain performance

Primary Responsibilities:

Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with company goals and objectives. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of supply chain professionals to achieve departmental and organizational targets. Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory planning, forecasting, and optimization to minimize stockouts while maximizing inventory turnover. Logistics Optimization: Implement strategies to optimize transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes to reduce costs and improve delivery timelines.

6.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the supply chain operations.

7.Risk Management: Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize supply chain disruptions and ensure business continuity.

8.Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and sales, to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives.

9.Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies in all supply chain activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (10 years) in supply chain management roles, with a focus on leadership and strategy development.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive change initiatives.
  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) is a plus.
