This role reports directly to the Country Head, Korea, and is responsible for driving operational and strategic initiatives. You will collaborate with the Korea team and various global functions, including marketing, engineering, operations, service, and sales, based at Bloom Energy Corp. in the US. This high-visibility position plays a key role in helping Korea achieve its business goals. This role will report to the Country Head, Korea and will be fully on-site in Seoul, Korea.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic and operational initiatives, driving results with a focus on action.
- Partner with functional leaders from both Korea and the US to manage business, operational, and strategic reviews.
- Identify efficiency opportunities and drive initiatives to improve performance.
- Collaborate across Bloom’s global functions to align teams and initiatives.
- Monitor policy updates and assess the impact of policy changes.
- Lead internal and external communications, including all-hands meetings, presentations, and customer communications.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to lead both strategic and operational initiatives.
- 15+ years of experience in the commercial and government sectors, preferably in the energy or power industry.
- Experience working with MOTIE and similar Korean government agencies is a plus.
- Strong network in government and academia is a plus.
- Ability to influence without authority and partner with other functions.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with a data-driven decision-making approach.
- Confident presenter with excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially with PowerPoint.
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills both English and Korean.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Experience in product marketing, product management, consulting, or engineering is highly desirable.
- Graduate degree required.
