This position will be a temporary assignment with terms agreed to upon selection.

The Senior Administrative Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Department/Division Manager or supervisor in coordinating administrative support services, including the direction of administrative duties for a specific person or group.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Ability to perform all essential administrative assistant functions (refer to administrative assistant position description)

  • Compose and/or edit letters, memos, reports, procedures, etc. as required

  • Assist in the support of Department or Division personnel, i.e. coordinating team offsites and team calls

  • Act as liaison between supervisor and others, such as other Divisions, Departments, external contacts, clients (may include: arrange meetings, clarify and resolve problems, coordinate work, maintain working relationship and public relations, etc., as required by supervisor)

  • Oversee and/or process day-to-day administrative items as assigned (i.e. expense reports, travel coordination, management of office facilities) per supervisor’s authorization

  • Prepare special reports, studies, statistical analysis, per supervisor’s request (such responsibilities may require supervisor’s review but normally are performed with little supervision)

  • May administer various Company and Division procedures or policies which require independent decision-making, with supervisor’s authorization

  • Coordinate customer meetings both in office and remotely

  • Maintain professional manner with clients and employees

  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:

  • 4-year business or technical degree plus minimum 3 years administrative experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Proficient working knowledge of construction project procedures

  • Advanced knowledge and use of word-processing and spreadsheet software

  • Proficient in use of general office procedures and office machines

  • Proficient in English verbal communication skills, including professional telephone manner

  • Proficient in written communication skills, including business writing skills

  • Reliability, dependability and flexibility

$31.23 - $39.04
