The Sales Operations Data Analyst takes a hand-on approach by serving as a business partner to sales, marketing and sales operations leadership providing actionable insights to inform & drive business decisions. Thriving in a remote, fast-paced, dynamic environment, the sales team will look to the Sales Operations Data Analyst to manage sales-focused dashboards, help establish appropriate reporting cadences, and streamline data requirements as well as support best practices in sales forecasting, reporting, and communications.  This role plays an instrumental part in bringing clean, affordable, and modern energy to the world.

 Helps Soligent make a positive impact by:

  • Building and maintaining sales-focused dashboards via PowerBI
  • Producing visually compelling reporting within specified cadences, as needed by business leaders
  • Managing financial forecasts and sales projections based on available business data
  • Analyzing data to evaluate monthly and annual sales and forecast goals
  • Producing presentations that analyze sales and marketing activities and achievements
  • Analyzing sales-related data trends and reporting  key findings to leadership
  • Monitoring and analyzing competitive activity, customer, and market trends
  • Collaborating with managers and staff to implement financial plans
  • Addressing requests for ad hoc data reporting needs
  • Identifying, documenting, and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement
  • All other duties as assigned by manager

Location: Remote

Required Skills/Proficiencies:  

  • 2+ years of sales analysis experience required
  • Strong research and data analysis skills
  • Previous general accounting or financial reporting experience
  • In-depth Excel and/or Google Sheets knowledge
  • Proficiency with ERP a plus - NetSuite preferred
  • Strong experience with business intelligence tools - PowerBI preferred
  • Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, able to interact with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; customer service mindset required.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.

Compensation for this role for a candidate based in Colorado, NYC, and CA is expected to be between $70,000-$85,000 but may be higher or lower in other States due to geographic differentials in the labor market.
