This position is responsible to manage the NCRs/NCEs, Inspection & Test Plan Development/Closeout processes as well as monitor QA related activities of the Project. Coordination with other departments is required to compile documentation, review, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements for submittal to client.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Nonconformances (NCs) and Noncompliance Events (NCEs) software.
  • Manage responses to construction quality Nonconformances and Noncompliance Events.
  • Oversee and lead investigations on quality Nonconformances and Noncompliance Events.
  • Analyze Nonconformances to identify their causes and lessons learned.
  • Coordinate closely with the different departments within ASN the turnover of the required documentation related to NCRs and NCEs. Develops a summary and reports the progress on NCRs and NCEs.
  • Monitor QA related activities.
  • Understanding and ensure compliance with the Project Agreement under the applicable scope of works.
  • Follow up with Operations Team and other department on the status of the documentation required to manage NCRs and other scopes related to the QA area of the Project.
  • Assist the Quality Control Manager & Quality Manager with developing ITPs when needed.
  • Assist with the management and compilation of Inspection and Test Plan Closeout Packages (Turnover Packages)
  • Assist with the Punchlist and Pre-Inspection Process to help identify and close outstanding items.
  • To review and follow up on the comments given by the Developer and/or the Authority on the submittals related to the scope of the QA area of the Project. Request input on those comments to the relevant responsible from ASN departments. Compile responses and review prior to resubmittal to the Developer.
  • Promote equality in the workplace and adopt appropriate behavior when interacting with colleagues.
  • Take necessary care to properly protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of corporate information from unauthorized disclosure, modification, or destruction.

Required Skills and Competencies

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to interpret contract specifications and drawings, as well as understand contract procedures and principles.
  • Ability to understand construction procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office tools, Word, Power BI, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Continuously interacts with employees within ASN and the Developer.
  • Strong communications, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Skills in oral and written communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or in a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Specialized courses in Construction Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in large infrastructure projects.
  • Experience on multi-year heavy/civil projects is strongly preferred.
