JOB OVERVIEW   
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day activities for the project management of solar photovoltaic projects developed by ForeFront Power. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing contract and document management, accounting, technical support, and a variety of administrative support duties for the Behind the Meter project development team.

 

JOB LOCATION AND REPORTING TO
This position will be based in our San Francisco office, or for the right candidate, a remote position. The Development Project Coordinator reports to a Senior Project Manager and works closely with several different project managers.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Create purchase orders and work orders for subcontractors and provide accounts payable-related support as needed.
  • Manage document control for projects including reports, plans, specifications, requests for information, and submittals.
  • Coordinate and support the interrelated activities of the Sales, Project Finance, Legal, Project Development, Design and Engineering, and Asset Management.
  • Utilize the company’s designated accounting platform to manage project accounting and cost control.
  • Submit and manage utility interconnection applications and coordinate financial security obligations.

  • 2 years of relevant experience as a project coordinator or administrator
  • Proven track record as a project coordinator or administrator working with multiple vendors across various design and procurement specialties
  • Basic knowledge and experience in the renewable energy industry; solar PV project development and/or construction preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Capability to document and report project status accurately
  • Motivated self-starter, good team player and ability to lead by example
  • Highly proficient in MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and accounting applications

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position is primarily sedentary in nature and requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk in front of a computer. Long hours will be needed from time to time as dictated by a given project and its deadlines.
