Job Summary:
As the Renewables organization is growing in USA this position will provide support to the users, both in procurement and rest of the areas to support the procurement process and tools. Act as a link between local users in Houston and procurement teams, both USA and Madrid, assuring compliance with Repsol procedures. This position will report to the Head of Procurement Process and Tools in Repsol’s corporate office.
The position is based in Downtown Houston with a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Deploy the Procurement procedures ensuring alignment with Central GBC Procurement Norms.
New users training and solving doubts
Identify improvements and help streamline procurement processes.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement through regular feedback and updates
Systems and Procurement Tools / Suppliers:
Develop relationships with both the people in the procurement departments and in the rest of departments to ensure the correct use of tools and compliance with the procurement processes.
Download contracts in SAP once approved, assisting procurement team during the lifecycle of the contract.
Train rest of users in SAP for the creation of Orders and service acceptance and help solving incidents
Collaborate in the local development of tools and systems associated with the P2P process.
Create and maintain clear documentation of processes and workflows.
Manage and track suppliers’ prequalification platform for the US.
Foster the evaluation of suppliers, carrying out quality assessments and audits of the selected suppliers.
Balance Scorecard:
Manage USA KPI’s to analyze procurement activity, track objectives and report the real status vs. goals.
Extract data from procurement systems ensuring the quality of the information and suggesting improvements in both procedures and tools, as well as corrective measures in the event of deviations.
Follow-up on the evolution of implemented initiatives over time, and the impact of the measures that have been taken.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement through regular feedback and updates
Qualifications
Authorized to work in the USA for any employer without sponsorship.
A Bachelor’s degree is required, business analytics, supply chain, engineering, data science or related field is preferred.
4+ years of professional related procurement, business operations, including experience with contract management and cost control.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Strong Communication, Customer/Partner Relationships, and Technology Expertise. (Preferred).
Availability to travel is required.
Familiarity with Share Point, Power BI, SAP – MM
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Written and verbal and communication skills
Ability to be self-motivated and high attention to details
Exemplary standards of integrity, safety, ethics, quality, and productivity
