ACCIONA Construction USA, part of the SR 400 Peach Partners consortium, have been awarded the contract to design and construct the SR 400 Express Lanes project in Atlanta, Georgia. This $4.6 billion project, awarded by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), is a key public-private partnership aimed at addressing congestion on a major highway in the Atlanta metropolitan area.

The Party Chief will lead a surveying crew in the field, ensuring accurate data collection for the SR400 project. This role involves managing the survey team, setting up equipment, performing land surveys, and interpreting survey data. The Party Chief ensures that all surveying activities are executed in compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

Job Description

  • Lead and manage field survey crews.
  • Perform land surveys, including boundary, topographic, and construction layout.
  • Interpret survey data and prepare reports.
  • Ensure the accuracy of field measurements and data.
  • Communicate with project managers and engineers to provide necessary survey information.
  • Train and mentor junior survey staff.
  • Maintain and calibrate survey equipment.
  • Resolve survey-related issues in the field and provide technical support to the team.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field.
  • Professional Land Surveyor in Georgia
  • 10+ years of field surveying experience.
  • Proficiency in survey equipment and software.
