Job Description:
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Product Development Team in Brazil. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing mechanical components and systems for our cutting-edge solar tracker products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and manufacturing teams, to bring innovative products from concept to production. The ideal candidate will have a passion for renewable energy and product development, along with expertise in mechanical design and engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Design & Development: Lead the design and development of mechanical components and systems for solar tracker products, including structural elements, mechanical assemblies, and moving parts.
-
3D Modeling & CAD Design: Create and modify 3D models, CAD drawings, and assemblies using tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD.
-
Prototyping & Testing: Design and build prototypes, conduct hands-on testing, and analyze results to optimize mechanical designs for performance, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
-
Collaboration: Work closely with electrical engineers, software engineers, and other product development team members to integrate mechanical systems with electrical and software components.
-
Design for Manufacturing (DFM): Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-efficient, and meet quality standards. Work with suppliers and vendors to source components and materials.
