Position Summary
Plug Power Inc. is actively seeking a highly motivated student to join our team. Learning Objectives
- Become familiar with systems required in Electrolyzer design and how they are connected
- Understand piping material requirements for different process streams
- Understand how design data & requirements are propagated via 3D models to other company departments
- Gain knowledge on structuring a parametric model library for pressurized components
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist engineering design team in improving 3D model database of piping and tubing components
- Ensure CAD models are linked to company engineering database and easily searchable, cataloged, and accurate
- Rebuild/Redefine obsolete CAD models based on as-built documentation from fabrication documentation package
- Review 3D model parametric data to ensure engineering drawings meet the required specifications.
Education and Qualification
- Pursuing a Bachelor of Science, Master's or PhD degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or engineering technology
- Must have reliable transportation to the office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess solid hands-on approach to problem-solving
- Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail
- Excellent follow-through
- Must be driven and self-motivated
Estimated Base Salary Range:
$21.00 - $25.00
