Leeward Renewable Energy (LRE) is a high-growth renewable energy company that owns and operates a portfolio of 31 wind, solar and energy storage facilities across the United States, totaling approximately 3 gigawatts of generating capacity. Job Summary:

Leeward Renewable Energy (LRE) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, HRIS with expertise in Workday to join our dynamic Human Resources team. The Manager, HRIS will report directly to the Director, Human Resources and play a key role in optimizing our Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system to support HR operations, drive process improvements, and enhance data integrity and reporting capabilities. This individual will collaborate closely with HR stakeholders and IT professionals on integrations to deliver best-in-class HRIS solutions aligned with the organization's strategic objectives. This role is based at LRE's Dallas head office, but has Hybrid working flexibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Workday HCM, providing guidance, support, and training to HR users within the team and stakeholders.

  • Lead the configuration, customization, and optimization of Workday modules to meet the evolving needs of the organization and various HR centers of excellence (COE).

  • Partner with HR COE’s and IT teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and recommend solutions for system enhancements and integrations.

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to review, test, notify stakeholders, and implement new Workday features, functionalities, and updates in alignment with industry best practices.

  • Develop and maintain HRIS documentation, including system procedures, user guides, and training materials.

  • Conduct data analysis and audits to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Design and generate custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to support HR metrics, workforce planning, board reporting to assist the company with strategic decision-making.

  • Lead testing efforts for system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to HR and Payroll operations.

  • Stay abreast of Workday releases, trends, and innovations, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement and optimization.

  • Serve as a liaison between HR, IT, Finance and external vendors to troubleshoot system issues, resolve technical challenges, and escalate critical issues as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in HRIS administration, with a focus on Workday HCM configuration and support.

  • Workday certification in one or more areas required (HCM preferred).

  • In-depth working knowledge of Workday modules, including Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Management, Payroll, and Advanced Reporting.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading Workday implementations, upgrades, and optimization projects.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience working in the renewable energy or utilities industry is a plus.
