About This Position

Reporting to the Senior Specialist, Development, this role will be responsible for supporting ongoing development work for Intersect Power’s Project Development team. This position will work closely with subject matter experts across all aspects of project development, including the Business Development, Engineering, Land, and Origination & Trading teams.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Support ongoing aspects of project development work, from early stage strategy to ongoing day-to-day diligence; working with project budgets, schedules, and development tools
  • Project financial modeling and analysis work to support day-to-day and long-term strategic decision making for the overall business
  • Work with Business Development and Origination and Trading groups on vetting development assumptions, exploring theses for offtake customers, and conducting sensitivity analyses
  • Early stage development support, such as land siting and prospecting, due diligence and site constraints support, coordinating with all SMEs, including permitting, engineering, construction
  • Tool building to support the collection of data, and insight creation for overall development improvement
  • Day to day ad hoc analysis, projects, and workstream support


Qualifications and Skills
  • Ability to take initiatives, prioritize, manage competing deadlines while collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
