The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from $111,544 to $139,431

JOB SUMMARY:

This position will be responsible for the Intercompany services allocation for the Avangrid group. It will work to ensure the intercompany policies and structures are maintained and results from the process are consistent and accurate. The position will develop and maintain intercompany reporting models, databases and dashboards for both, internal leadership and external regulatory bodies. This position will have responsibility for updating and maintaining the analytics that drive the automatic intercompany allocation process and the creation of new structures.

This position will also support the creation and maintenance of system analytics for all Avangrid regulated and unregulated business. This is to ensure correct flow of information in our tracking ERP system, for internal and external statutory and regulatory reporting.

This position will be responsible for updating and maintaining system data within the business ERP that will drive financial results across multiple operating areas. They will also assist in the maintenance of a custom data collection tool that drives the creation of business analytics across Avangrid.

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintenance of the Global intercompany model within Avangrid providing in-depth analysis and relevant reporting of the intercompany allocations researching and substantiating any changes and explaining any variances.
  • Provide clear and understandable communication of the results of the intercompany process to internal stakeholders, the controllers for each line of business, Global counterparts within the group, and senior management.
  • Develop and maintain a KPI report and dashboard for Corporate Functions that presents the intercompany results for business line and company along with a key report summarizing the total Corporate Functions position within each company including the cost base and intercompany expense allocated.
  • Respond to any intercompany related data request including but not limited to Federal and Local Regulatory bodies, senior management, and other key business stakeholders both internal and external to Corporate Functions.
  • Create the master data, analytics and organizational structures in the SAP system to ensure accuracy, be the key contact point on the team for intercompany analytic information and structures.
  • Develop new strategies to analyze and structure the information in this evolving environment.
  • Support our inhouse application-based system to gather, evaluate, and create system analytics for the Avangrid Networks group.
  • Interact with our global colleagues to ensure consistency in application of the corporate model across Iberdrola Group.

REQUIREMENTS

Education/Experience

  • BS/BA Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting analysis, or a similar role, as relates to the primary tasks of the job
  • Effective experience in data management and organization
  • In-depth experience and understanding of using an ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, or similar and their different modules
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (Lookup/Logic Functions, Power Query, Pivot Tables/Charts/Power Pivot, VBA), Alteryx, MS Access, Power BI, and Office 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate)
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS (at least one is required; both are preferred)
  • Experience with sophisticated financial models and financial statement development and analysis (experience with utility statements preferred)
  • Data Analytics: expertise in data acquisition, cleaning and profiling, analysis
