Overview






Cordoba Corporation is a leading civil engineering firm based in California. We are seeking a Hydrogen Program Manager for our Gas sector. The Hydrogen Program Manager is responsible for Hydrogen Programs to focus on client management, business development, technical leadership for project management, engineering, subcontractors, cost, scheduling and the design team. This individual will be the main point of contact with the client and responsible for promoting continuing relations. This individual will report to the Vice President of Hydrogen and Energy Infrastructure.









Responsibilities






  • Lead strategic planning, forecasting and investment with Cordoba Energy Leadership.
  • Understand Company's business drivers to enable better execution, resolution of issues, and general alignment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with all levels of the Company's organization.
  • Responsible for program/project cost and schedule management.
  • Participate in key project meetings, coordinate activities in conjunction with engineering, procurement, contracts and project management.
  • Manage commitments and deliverables to ensure they are carried out in accordance with agreed to terms.
  • Maintain good working relationships with internal stakeholders, the management team, and contractors
  • Respond to inquiries and project issues when required.
  • Monitor the quality of work of team members.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, technical guidance, training and developmental opportunities to personnel.
  • Responsible for a core group of projects and contracts in a functional area.
  • Responsible for formulating and enforcing work standards, assigning contractor, schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising contractor personnel, and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates.
  • Schedules and allocates work; provides advice, guidance, and training to subordinates.
  • Responsible for project planning execution, and performance.
  • Responsible for the overall contract performance.
  • Manages substantial program/technical support operations involving multiple project/task orders and personnel at diverse locations.
  • Organizes, directs, and coordinates planning and execution of all program/technical support activities.
  • Establishes and alters (as necessary) management structure to effectively direct program/technical support activities.
  • Meets and confers with management officials regarding program status and discusses technical activities and problem resolutions.








Qualifications






  • Bachelor's degree in civil, electrical, chemical or mechanical engineering is required
  • 10+ years of project engineer, project management, and program management experience is required
  • Demonstrated experience with Hydrogen programs at energy companies is required
  • Pipeline and gas facilities experience required
  • Experience in design, engineering and construction gas/hydrogen pipeline projects is required
  • Professional Engineer license is highly preferred
  • Fundamental understanding of cost management and corporate accounting reports
  • Experience managing a team and assigning work to team members
  • Ability to navigate the internal organizational procedures and can interpret policies / procedures
  • Ability to communicate mission, objectives and safety philosophy in decision making and supervising the work of others
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Good problem-solving, decision-making, communication, analytical and human relations skills required
  • Advanced written and verbal English language communication skills
  • High level of personal integrity and a strong work ethic

 

Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000

 

Work Location: Hybrid a few days per week at the client and/or Cordoba office locations in either Los Angeles, Chatsworth, Ontario, Santa Ana or San Diego as needed.

 

Visa Sponsorship: Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.A. on a full-time basis without sponsorship.

 

Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a pre-authorized physical including a drug-screening and background check is required.
