ABOUT THE PROGRAM – Summer 2025 Internship

As an intern at Invenergy, you will have the opportunity to:

· Expand your knowledge and skills while gaining hands-on professional experience at a graduate level.

· Engage with leaders throughout the organization and learn about the clean energy industry through rotational program.

· Visit our nearby power plants: Grand Ridge Energy Center and Nelson Energy Center.

· Spend a day giving back to the community with our ‘Volunteer Time Off’ program.

· Attend a networking mixer to learn more about and engage with representatives from our various employment engagement groups.

· Explore Chicago with your fellow interns.

· Our program takes place from June – August lasting for 10-12 weeks.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

· Provide project support within Corporate Affairs & Brand business groups, while learning current renewable project campaigns across the US.

· Provide support to Invenergy's PR & Marketing efforts and goals while getting acclimated to Invenergy's business groups.

· Hands-on experience working with renewable developers regarding a project life cycle on a current Invenergy local project.

· Support commercial finance by undergoing a customizable onboarding plan to learn the basics of commercial acumen within a corporate business setting.

· Learn about energy power markets as it relates to structuring PPAs, contract negotiations and working with sales operations in a high-volume customer centric environment.

· Support business strategy by working directly to support the Director of Business Strategy, connecting renewable development practices, project life cycles, commercial finance and sales/marketing practices to professional work within an energy company.

Base Pay

Hourly Rate:

$22-35

The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Your recruiter can share more about the base pay for this internship opportunity during the hiring process.

Interns may be eligible to contribute to a 401k.
