Job Summary:

Repsol Renewables North America (RRNA) is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to support financial management and reporting activities, focusing on various aspects of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. The FP&A Manager will work closely with the head of FP&A and an interdisciplinary team to deliver timely reporting and analysis to keep management and stakeholders apprised of business performance.

The position is based in Downtown Houston with a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead portions of the annual budget and forecast process and be responsible for coordinating with departments to gather inputs
  • Manage monthly review processes, including tracking key financial metrics, performance of actual to plan and preparation of management presentations
  • Support the implementation of new performance management systems, tools and methods
  • Lead development and maintenance of financial models, including updating forecasts and integrating historical financial information
  • Partner with business leaders in development, E&C, Asset Management, O&M and others to optimize forecasts, manage risks and drive improvements to financial performance
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for external stakeholders
  • Provide analysis of forecast and variance to actuals with actionable insights communicated to business leaders

Qualifications:

  • Must be qualified to work in the US for any employer
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or accounting
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in industries such as renewable power, engineering, construction, or infrastructure
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Sound analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
  • Understanding of accounting principles as it relates to financial reporting, forecasting and analysis across the income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a dynamic and team-oriented culture
  • Strong ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations
