The Energy Representative role is an entry-level position leading to a career in Residential Energy Auditing. You’ll provide services that make homes safer, more comfortable, and energy-efficient—at no cost to clients. This is not a sales role; our team partners with local utilities to deliver free energy conservation programs. Conduct home energy assessments using diagnostic tools (training provided).
Work independently and collaboratively to ensure quality service and installations.
Record and report data to meet program requirements.
Troubleshoot technical issues during energy efficiency installations.
Learn and follow technical guidelines for energy efficiency programs.
Represent the program and company to customers, promoting participation and energy savings.
Travel daily within the service territory (company vehicle provided).
In this exciting career opportunity, you will have or will be…
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective team and client interaction.
Knowledge of construction, home renovation, or trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) preferred; willingness to learn required.
Ability to obtain BPI, OSHA, and EPA Lead certifications within 6-9 months (training/certification costs covered).
Customer-focused mindset with strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Ability to pass background and drug tests.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Targeted Compensation:
$18-$20 per hour
