Position Summary: This position will be part-time and be a part of the Family Services team under the Urban Indian Health Institute. The Curriculum Development Coordinator will work in collaboration with the Family Services team and community partners to develop a group prenatal/postnatal care model.


 


 


 


Organizational Structure/Reporting Relationships: This position reports directly to the Family Services Director and is a member of the Family Services Team. This position has no direct reports.

Job Responsibilities



  • Work in close collaboration with the Family Services director to develop a group prenatal/postnatal care model with close coordination and collaboration with our grant community partners.

  • Attend monthly in person meetings with Family Services team and community partners.

  • Document curriculum development process.

  • Work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Consistently, professionally, and efficiently communicate and collaborate with program and agency staff, as well as community partners.

  • Other job-related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

 


 


Background Qualifications


Required:  



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Experience with Native or Alaska Native organizations

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Adobe programs.

  • Ability to demonstrate strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with external medical professionals and agencies.

  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks with minimal direction.


Work Environment: This role will have a hybrid schedule of 10 hours per week, with in-person meetings with community partners prioritized. Duties may involve long hours performing sedentary work at a computer terminal.
