Position Summary
Plug Power Inc. is actively seeking a highly motivated student to join our team. The student will be responsible for assisting the Continuous Improvement & Training team in a wide variety of initiatives and projects in support of your academic studies and interests. Learning Objectives
- Gain an understanding of Lean Manufacturing and related concepts
- Develop an understanding of the Continuous Improvement & Training impact on the production process
- Understand the rationale of a training program geared toward newly hired employees
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Create high level training outline for production new hires
- Generate department specific training programs outlines
- Execute and evaluate effectiveness of training programs with new hires
Education and Qualification
- Pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in or a related program
- Must have reliable transportation to the office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possess solid hands-on approach to problem-solving
- Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail
- Excellent follow-through
- Must be driven and self-motivated
Estimated Base Salary Range:
$21.00 - $25.00
