POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT

Moss' Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable Azure infrastructure while ensuring robust firewall and network security. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing and optimizing Azure cloud environments, FortiGate Firewalls, and Palo Alto Prisma Access solutions.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, implement, and maintain Azure infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements
  • Manage Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Azure Active Directory, and other Azure services
  • Monitor, optimize, and scale Azure resources for performance and cost efficiency
  • Background in Active Directory, traditional infrastructure, and PowerShell scripting
  • Develop and implement automation scripts for provisioning, configuration, and orchestration of cloud resources
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools for managing and versioning infrastructure
  • Manage and support Palo Alto Prisma Access to secure remote access and branch offices
  • Configure and maintain security policies and access controls
  • Collaborate with the security team to ensure compliance with security best practices
  • Knowledge of SASE, Prisma Access or SD-WAN architectures
  • Remote user access technologies
  • WAN Technologies
  • Tunneling protocols such as SSL/TLS, IPSec, GRE, DMVPN
  • Authentication methodologies, including 2FA, RADIUS, LDAP, AD
  • IP Routing - BGP, OSPF, Static, Network Address Translation
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to develop and implement security strategies
  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans
  • Respond to security incidents and assist in the development of incident response plans
  • Implement and enforce security best practices in cloud environments
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Azure and network configurations
  • Generate reports on infrastructure performance, security incidents, and compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical support and guidance
  • Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 support when necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Proven experience as an Azure Infrastructure Engineer with Azure certification (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect)
  • Strong expertise in FortiGate Firewall administration and Palo Alto Prisma Access
  • Knowledge of network security principles, protocols, and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE) are a plus
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Azure Automation)
  • Proficient with PanOS and FortiOS
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
  • Knowledge of orchestration
  • Cloud security certifications (e.g., Azure Security Engineer, Certified Cloud Security Professional) are a plus
