Business Development Intern

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Intern for our Acciona Energy North American business development team. The Business Development Intern will gain a meaningful work experience by assisting the team with our Solar Photovoltaic energy, Wind energy, and Battery Energy Storage System projects. This is a great opportunity for Juniors or Seniors to gain exposure to the renewable energy industry with potential for full-time employment after graduation.

Responsibilities:

• Research and gather documentation on renewable energy companies, electricity markets, transmission operators, and other market intelligence, create and maintain PowerPoint presentations.
• Coordinate with other departments on providing and responding to information requests.
• Manage databases and input information, data, and records; assist with file organization for business development department.
• Prepare information summaries of relevant topics to renewable energy industry to business development team.
• Assemble permit applications and drawings.
• Assist with routine reporting for development projects.
• Attend to general development-related tasks.
• Attend company functions and networking events.

Requirements:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Physical Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics or related discipline. This position is targeted to Juniors and Seniors currently enrolled in local universities.
• Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for quality work and taking initiative.
• Self-motivated with strong work ethic, easily adaptable to constantly changing environment and willing to do what it takes to get the job done individually and within a team.
• Valid driver’s license
