The Inside Sales Representative will drive revenue by closing company-generated leads, signifying their interest in going solar. Your role will be to close at least 40% of these customers. Customers will have come through a specific funnel geared toward a cash/finance, PPA, or DIY sale, and reps should be well-versed in communicating the benefits of each deal type in order to close these customers. Closers will be compensated with a base + commission structure to be discussed during the interview process. A successful candidate will have experience as a top solar salesperson and will be self-motivated to close deals and serve customers.
Responsibilities

Qualify new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls, emails, and text messaging
- Educate potential customers on the benefits of solar energy solutions
- Conduct virtual and phone consultations to understand customers' energy consumption patterns and provide tailored solutions
- Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and contracts to prospective customers
- Provide technical information about solar power, solar systems, equipment, and services to potential customers
- Follow up with leads to ensure timely progression through the sales pipeline
- Maintain accurate records of interactions with leads and customers in the CRM
- Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the sales process
Requirements

Proven experience in hitting or exceeding sales targets in an inside or outside sales position, specifically in the solar industry
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively over the phone and by email
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers
- Self-motivated and target-driven with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities
