The Regenerative Agriculture & Land Access Manager leads the planning, implementation, and management of a groundbreaking program within the Microenterprise department. Picture a vibrant landscape where regenerative agriculture, land access, and thriving farm businesses come together under their guidance. This role not only oversees cutting-edge regenerative agriculture education and exciting farmland business activities but also plays a pivotal role in empowering Latine farmers to achieve their personal and business dreams. Alongside the Regenerative Agriculture and Farm Incubator Coordinator and the Farm Business Specialist they create and offer dynamic and culturally responsive coaching. This role reports to the Director of Microenterprise.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 70% of time supervising 2 employees
  • Oversee all Regenerative Agriculture & Land Access programming to ensure community needs and program goals are met.
  • Lead the development of a farm incubator program and starting a 32-acre farm - program analysis, feasibility studies, building a farm, etc.
  • Evaluates program needs and resources, and develops and manages program strategic plan and budget in collaboration with Director of Microenterprise

  • A passionate commitment to the goals and mission of Adelante Mujeres and support for immigrant and BIPOC communities
  • Bachelor's degree in agriculture or agroecology, farm management, food and farming systems or strongly related field
  • Three years' experience working with Latine, low income, immigrant, diverse families
  • Two years' experience working with the Latine community in regenerative agriculture or agroecology farming practices, and local food distribution systems.
  • Two years' experience with farm business, small business management and growth, sales opportunities, and budget management.
  • Two years' supervisory experience
  • Bilingual-Bicultural Spanish/English
  • Committed to education, social justice, women's empowerment and the environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills and ability to develop good working relationships with a wide range of people, including excellent verbal and written communication
  • One years' experience in partnership building and cross- organization collaborations
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and lead projects or programs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, Zoom, Canva, and other virtual platforms

SALARY & BENEFITS:

  • Salary range: $63K - $67K per year, depending on qualifications
  • Classification: Full-Time, Exempt
  • Telework: up to 2 days a week
