Maintenance Technician Position 

Job Purpose:  
Inspect, repair, maintain equipment/machines.
Duties:
  • Perform daily Preventive Maintenance on machines/equipment.
  • Trouble shoot and repair electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
  • Inspect and repair vehicles, forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Design and build projects as needed.
  • Safely operate vehicles and forklifts.
  • Meets schedule deadlines set out daily by management within reason.
  • Participates in “buddy system” regarding PPE and safety.
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for professional attitude, language, and appearance while on shift or in uniform.
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Basic knowledge of measurements and reading schematics/blueprints.
  • Basic design and fabrication skills.
  • Safe use of hand tools.
  • Basic knowledge of high voltage electrical circuits single and three phase.
  • Carpentry skills.
  • Ability to trouble shoot and repair electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
  • Must be able to work a full time
  • Work in seasonal weather conditions. 
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening to include but not limited to background check, reference checks, drug and alcohol testing.
  • Ability to work well with hands, read tape measure, and lift up to 50lbs.
Training classes for position to be held as production schedule warrants. Must have steel toe boots at the time of training class.
