What you will do as a Junior Systems Administrator
  • Assist in the configuration and maintenance of computer operating systems, including software releases, patches, and system upgrades.
  • Conduct daily monitoring of network devices and systems for any intrusion and security, faulty, service down, packet loss and capacity shortage alerts.
  • Assist in maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity plans for all IT systems.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining security measures to protect data and IT assets.
  • Assist in capacity, storage planning, and/or database performance.
  • Provide first to second level of support to end-users, addressing and resolving technical issues onsite and remote.
  • Ensure timely adherence to incident and service request SLAs via ticketing system.
What ClearSource Needs from You
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • At least two years of proven experience as a Systems Administrator/Engineer or similar role.
  • Hands-on-experience with systems administration including configuration, deployment, security and maintenance of windows server 2016 and above.
  • Hands-on-experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft M365 suite, Intune, Azure, Defender, Entra ID, and AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Amazon Connect.
  • Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems (macOS is a plus).
  • Understanding of LAN/WAN environments is required.
  • Understanding of IT security principles and practices is needed
  • Working knowledge in storage solutions (NAS, SAN) is required.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) is essential
  • Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) is needed.
  • Understanding of software licensing and compliance is necessary.
