We work all over the world in close partnership with the main manufacturers of wind turbines (OEM).

Role

We are seeking a highly resourceful and organized team-player to serve as our Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator. This person will be responsible for the development and execution of an Environmental, Health and Safety Program. The EHS Coordinatorwill be one of the key members of the organization.

Compensation 

• $50,000-75,000 based on experience and education.

Location

The role will be based at our Flower Mound, TX Office.

Main responsabilities

• Perform risk assessment and define risk management procedures.


• Responsible for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management system certification and monitoring.


• Responsible for the maintenance and management of the site safety program, including tracking of Near Misses, Safety Observations, injuries, and management of the employee safety incentive program.


• Assesses the safety risk of activities and recommends action to be taken to reduce risk and maintain compliance.


• Maintains the safety in the facilities and onsite (windfarms).


• Maintenance of Safety Data Sheets, chemical inventory list, etc.


• Field work involving client and venders personal (supervisors, manufacturing personnel, and regulatory agencies) to discuss problems and opportunities.


• Conducts RCA to address safety issues, compliance matters, quality and environmental rules and regulations.


• Selects and maintains proper safety equipment and inventory.


• Conduct PPE inspections.


• Coordinate, conduct and document Health & Safety training for employees.


• Develop and implement a safety training curriculum and procedures to eliminate injuries and illnesses.


• Interact with regulatory agencies to maintain compliance with company and government standards;


• Serve as safety expert and primary contact in respect to health and safety matters.


• Overseeing all client web platforms (ISNetworld and ComplyWorks).


• Available to travel frequently for site visits.

Preferred skills and experience

• Preference for a candidate with Bachelor of Science from an accredited College with an EHS focus.


• Experience in overseeing and conducting inspections and audits to ensure compliance with established requirements and procedures.


• Acquainted with emergency management and employee injury management.


• Experience working with Multi National companies that have extensive operations in different States and Regions


• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)


• Knowledg of ERP systems such as Sage
