The Grant Project Manager will be responsible for preparing technical reports, budget management, coordinating with partners to integrate their reports, managing invoice submissions, and serving as the primary contact for communications with funding agencies. This role is essential for supporting Fervo Energyβs strategic goals through effective grant management and fostering collaboration among stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering, science, and project management. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of conveying complex technical concepts and research findings to write technical reports, manage multiple partners to achieve the project goals on schedule and on budget, and write new grant proposals. The candidate will work closely with the principal investigator (PI) at Fervo Energy and PIs from universities, national laboratories, and other government agencies. Fervo was recently awarded a $25 million grant from the Department of Energy Geothermal Technologies Office and is currently managing several grants from other funding agencies including the Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative, the Utah Frontier Observatory for Research in Geothermal Energy, and the Department of Energy Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations.
