We are seeking a Financial Controller to oversee and manage key financial activities within the company, with a strong focus on treasury, collateral and insurance management, financial reporting, and accounting analysis. This position will be crucial in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial records, optimizing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Job Description

Treasury Management:

  • Manage and optimize the company’s cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for daily operations.
  • Oversee banking relationships and coordinate the execution of payments and collections.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts to ensure the availability of funds during key periods.

Collateral and Insurance Management:

  • Administer the company’s financial guarantees, including tracking, renewals, and expirations.
  • Monitor and ensure proper insurance coverage, managing policies to protect the company’s assets and operational risks.

Accounting and Financial Analysis:

  • Conduct detailed reviews and analyses of accounting records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of the annual budget and monitor it through budget vs actual comparisons.
  • Oversee both internal and external audits, ensuring their proper execution.

Financial Risk Management:

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks that could affect the organization.
  • Implement and continuously improve internal policies and controls for risk management.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Propose and implement improvements in financial and accounting processes to increase operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain tools and systems that support financial decision-making.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in treasury, collateral, and insurance management.
  • knowledge of international accounting and financial standards (IFRS, US GAAP).
  • Experience in preparing and analyzing financial reports and budgets.
  • Ability to manage banking relationships and work with insurance providers.
