JOB SUMMARY:

This position provides engineering expertise to support the development, analysis, evaluation, measurement, and verification (EM&V) of clean energy solutions and Distributed Energy Resources which are part of the Non-Wires Alternatives (NWA), Non-Pipes Alternatives (NPA), and Utility Thermal Energy Network (UTEN) portfolios at Avangridโs New York operating companies including NYSEG and RG&E.
This position will work in New York to lead the success of existing and future utility programs and their resulting benefits. The job requires being able to interpret and apply company, industry, local, state, and national standards and ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements. It is also required that the candidate will ensure safe and efficient operation of the project measures and resolve technical issues affecting the project and distribution system.

The following skills and associated competency levels are desired of those candidates seeking a position in Non-Wires Alternatives. However, offsetting industry and other relevant technical skills will be considered for candidates without previous experience in these NWA/NPA/UTEN activities (e.g., T&D Engineering, T&D Planning, P&C, etc.).
