About the Role

Corporate Relations & Marketing Specialist

The Corporate Relations & Marketing Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Vice President in positioning LanzaJet in the marketplace as the global sustainable aviation fuel leader in the transition to a clean energy world. LanzaJet is creating the product and platform for driving historic change, the success of which depends on a compelling, unified corporate message, reputational strength and reach, and a strategy aligned with where the market is headed.

By building out integrated marketing, communications, driving brand awareness, growing industry thought leadership, and meaningfully engaging key stakeholders across the business and industry, this role will elevate and establish LanzaJet’s position as a global game changer.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Relations in positioning LanzaJet as a global leader in SAF technology and production, driving business growth, innovation, and thought leadership across several target audiences including: consumers, purchasers, partners, shareholders, and government stakeholders.
  • Support the execution of the marketing strategy by following through on team objectives and goals, help execute marketing and communication strategies, and measure adoption and success.
  • Support the creation of marketing materials, bringing LanzaJet’s reputation and story front and center in a clear and consistent way that resonates with and motivates target audiences.
  • Develop the sales enablement materials for the company, across customers and the sales cycle.
  • Build corporate strategy around global conference engagement – including speaking opportunities, conference sponsorship and participation to ensure LanzaJet is seen as a strategic thought leader across the world in not only as a sustainable aviation fuel company but also responsible and reputable business.
  • Establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with corporate partners, stakeholders, and industry groups.
  • Collaborate with different departments within the organization to align corporate relations and marketing goals with overall business objectives.
  • Support the execution of communication strategies to raise awareness of activities, and products, seizing relevant opportunities to enhance the organization's image, ensuring LanzaJet is top of mind for key stakeholders, purchasers, consumers, and decision-makers. This applies to company reputation, strategic initiatives, etc.
  • Help execute internal processes around managing company goals and priorities to enable healthy company growth through tools like Objectives and Key Results.
  • Facilitate the Marketing and Corporate Affairs team project management.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in political science, business, marketing, communications, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing and corporate relations, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistical methods.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Outstanding leadership skills and ability to delegate responsibilities effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive the marketing process from plan to close.
  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and techniques.
  • Strong project management skills
