The Control & Optimization Analyst will assist the team in monitoring various systems to ensure the reliability of information, identifying risks and areas for improvement, and supporting specific analyses required to enhance operations. This role reports directly to the Control & Optimization Manager and will provide support to the Control and Optimization department.
- Monitoring main indicators in the different Acciona Energía software and applications, to improve the reliability of data in the systems.
- Periodic monitoring of the energy and availability losses classification to identify deviations in the reporting process and help develop improvements to the actual process.
- Monitoring the reporting processes of the works performed in the different facilities across USA and Canada, identifying deviations, opportunity areas and help to define action plans in coordination with the representatives in each facility and Control & Optimization team.
- Periodic monitoring of the materials availability, according with the Annual Maintenance Plan, to identify potential risk who can impact the planification, help to develop action plans in coordination with the representatives in each facility and Control & Optimization team.
- Assist in identifying and developing processes that can be automated using various tools.
- Assist in monitoring critical maintenance activities across various systems, identifying potential risks.
- Support Control & Optimization Manager with specific analysis and Presentations.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in, Business Administration, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- No prior experience is required
- Experience or interest in renewable energy sector is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Apps (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to identify and communicate risk
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
