Job Description

Leap29 are currently seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in the renewable energy sector. As a Construction Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the development and execution of renewable energy projects, specifically focusing on wind and solar.

 

Responsibilities:

 

- Manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and vendors, to ensure smooth project execution.

- Develop and maintain project timelines and ensure adherence to key milestones and deliverables.

- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

- Coordinate with regulatory bodies and obtain necessary permits and approvals for project construction.

- Handle all project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.

- Manage project budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.

- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential project risks.

- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in renewable energy construction.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.

 

Requirements:

 

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in the renewable energy sector.

- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, regulations, and safety standards.

- Experience managing wind and solar energy projects is highly desirable.

- Proven track record of successfully delivering construction projects on time and within budget.

- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

- Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera, is preferred.

- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

- Professional certification or licensure in project management or a related field is desirable.
