Title: Commissioning Project Manager

Location: Orlando, FL

Position Overview:

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, Inc. is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager (Orlando, FL) to drive and influence technology, technical value streams, and technical processes according to strategic roadmap, impacting the business. Advise and support business units, segments, or CT Technology Fields. Serve as the main interface between NA SE Commissioning Department and all other organizations within the company. Drive NA Commissioning improvements and efficiencies in the field. Report trending NA commissioning issues and report to management and global. Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and drive improvements. Serve as the main technical interface with all escalation and departmental resource, both regional and globally. Support the field with resolving technical issues including SCADA support and platform technical and software issues. Drive conformity across the field in troubleshooting and commissioning of WTGs. Drive conformity in the field reporting including the project daily reports. Establish recommended commissioning spares per project. 10% domestic travel required, 10% international travel required. Local telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Education, Experience and Abilities:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field and 5 years of experience in wind power. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, the employer will accept 2 years of work experience. Must have the following experience: working in O&M in Gamesa platforms; working as Commissioning Technician; working as a WTG Commissioning Supervisor; working as commissioning project manager; Gamesa monitoring system user and configuration; working with WindNET PRO & CRSP Scada system; working in Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI; SAP Applications, including SRP, NCR, and SAPRAPP037X; managing spare parts initial orders; project management including planning, resources management, and acceleration plans; windchill platform user skills; switchgear injection testing; CCU Diagnostics (Converview & Convertool); Ormazabal Switchgear training; NFPA70E & OSHA; Availability Trending, Tracking, and Validation; and Contractual Liquidated Damages Verification. 10% domestic travel required, 10% international travel required. Local telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week.
