Venture Solar is seeking a results-driven sales person to join our team as a Business Development Closer. This position is for a confident sales person. You’ll go through six weeks of training to make you are a solar sales expert.
This is not a traditional virtual sales role as you will be assisting a consultant that is at the prospect’s home with the technical aspects of the design, financing, and closing the sale. A sales representative will show up to the prospect’s home to collect utility information, take photos, give a high level overview of the programs, and give an overview of the company history to the prospect at which time you will join the meeting virtually to review equipment options, build a design for the customer, review their current and future electric bill, and finally review a proposal and close the sale. We refer to this method of selling as ‘Hybrid Appointments’ as there is an in person and virtual component.
These will be pre-set, qualified appointments. You will only be attending meetings virtually where your team member has already arrived at the home with the prospect and obtained the utility information. This is the most efficient use of time and results in the highest compensation opportunity in the industry.
With the flexibility of working virtually, you'll have the opportunity to run a high volume of consultations without having to travel or deal with no show appointments. Closers only required travel will be monthly sales meetings and the occasional team outing. Training and onboarding will be in person.
