Business Development Associate
Sunkeeper Solar’s Business Development Associate will play a key role in the sales process for solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage (BESS) projects in and around the New York Metropolitan Area. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years’ experience in distributed generation, be interested to learn about renewable energy in New York City, and be excited to work in a dynamic environment, where you will get to see the results of what you put "on paper" firsthand.
Location: Office work will be performed in person in Sunkeeper's downtown Brooklyn office. This is an in-person position.
Responsibilities: Sunkeeper is a fast-paced and growing company, and applicants for the Business Development Associate position should be flexible and be prepared to get their hands dirty. Common responsibilities for the position will include:
Reporting: Business Development Associates will report to the Director of Business Development.
Compensation & Benefits: Compensation will depend on applicant experience and performance.

Discretionary bonuses may be paid based on applicant's job performance on an annual basis.
Base Salary Range: $64,350.00 - $70,000.00 per year
First Year On Target Earnings (OTE) range: $75,000-$85,000
Growth Opportunities: Business Development Associates who successfully work with Sunkeeper for several years will have the ability to advance to more senior positions on the Business Development team, where they will be directly responsible for leading the entire sales process and managing a subset of Sunkeeper’s customer relationships.
