What you will do as Accounting Associate
- Ensure that all monthly, quarterly, and annual taxes are filed and paid timely and correctly.
- Process VAT refund application on a quarterly basis.
- Reconcile tax reports with general ledger and payroll.
- Support during audit period.
- Ensure that all tax related documents soft copy and hard copy are updated.
- Make certain that the company is always aware and updated on the latest tax regulations issuance of the BIR.
- Coordinate with BIR examiners during refund or audit.
- Initiates corrective action for all the denied transactions.
- Has knowledge in processing vendor payments in accordance with the BIR compliances and Accounting Standards.
- Do ad hoc tasks from time to time.
What ClearSource Needs from You
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, a CPA is a plus
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a tax assistant or similar role
- New graduates of Accounting are also welcome to apply
- Payroll process knowledge or experience is a plus
- Good understanding of MS Office and MS Excel functions
- In-depth knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping processes
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
